Third Annual CURD Polar Bear Ride - 31 Dec 09/1 Jan 10

The snow clouds have settled and the road salt has begun eating away at the sidecar rigs and riding gear of a select group of individuals. Yes, another year has come and gone; it's passing marked in a special ceremony by the few, proud and elite "all weather motorcycle enthusiasts" that form the rank and file of this year's CURD Polar Bear Riders. These hardy riders braved the nasty, brutal winter elements of their regions and drove their rigs on the last day of 2009 and/or the first day of 2010, ensuring their place in the history books of CURD and earning them the adoration of riders and non-riders alike all over the world. It takes a special kind of person to face the wrath of winter on three wheels with nothing more than a few layers of clothing to shield them from the weather. In fact, these CURDites are so tough that they all motored about naked underneath their clothes, laughing and flaunting their various body parts to the Gods in a worldwide show of solidarity against the snow, wind, sleet and hail that tried to stop them.

Ladies and gentlemen, I give you this year's CURD Polar Bears...
